“Together Again” Myrle W. Roylance OGDEN – Myrle Williams Roylance, 88, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Emeritus Estates of causes incident to age and Alzheimer’s disease. She was born June 3, 1918 in Clifton, Idaho, a daughter of Andrew Lester and Maude Lucas Williams. On October 5, 1935, Myrle married Mark Merrill Roylance in North Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 28, 1955. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2002. She was raised and educated in Brigham City. Following her marriage she lived in North Ogden, Weston, Idaho, and returned to North Ogden in 1972. Myrle was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Dance Director with her husband and was a Sunday School secretary and Primary Teacher. She was the business manager for Roylance Dairy Farm, Inc. Myrle enjoyed camping, fishing, knitting and gardening. She enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She played bingo and traveled to Elko, Nevada to see shows on the Fun Bus. Surviving are three sons, Robert M. (Marilyn) Roylance, Collinston, UT; William H. (Connie) Roylance and Scott P. (Marilyn) Roylance, both of North Ogden; 17 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Myrle in death were her parents, two daughters, one grandson, one brother Donald Williams and three sisters Ila Jackson, Erma Wardle and Gloria Larson. The family expresses special thanks to The Gardens Assisted Living, Emeritus Estates Assisted Living and Pioneering Wing, and Applegate Hospice. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 5th Ward Chapel, 626 East 2600 North, with Bishop Curtis Beutler officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Ward Chapel 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
