Moses Kabo

July 16, 1974 ~ October 30, 2021

Moses was born July 16, 1974, the son of Morie Kabo and Adama Kabo, in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Moses served his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ghana Mission, Ghana which he often described as “one of the best times of my life.” Shortly after his mission he went to BYU-Hawaii, to pursue his education in Political Science. He played soccer for BYU-Hawaii Soccer Team when he was recruited to play for Park University in Missouri. He came back to BYU-Hawaii to graduate in the Spring of 2001.

We met during his senior year and married in Utah, May 16, 2005.

We have five children together, Michael Kabo, 15, Morie Kabo, 13, Savanna Kabo, 12, Adama Kabo, 7, and Yatti Kabo, 4.

Moses was a kind man with a soft heart. He was always willing to help and would often think of others more than of himself. He loved taking care of his close ones. Our children adored him and enjoyed spending time with him. They always looked forward to seeing him home after a long day at work.

Moses believed in the power of God, and I know he is now watching over all of us. His loss is extremely difficult for us and all who loved him. He brought so much joy and into our lives, and we will miss him very much.

Moses is survived by his wife, Sari Kabo; his five children, parents, sisters and brothers, Satta Kabo, Moray Kabo, Fatu Kabo, Attore Kabo, and Samuel Kabo, and many cousins and family members.
