FARMINGTON a€" Mildred Cook Olson, 95, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011.

She was born March 23, 1916 in Vernal, Utah the daughter of George and Violet Hodgkinson Cook. She has resided in Farmington, Utah since 1960.

Mildred married James D. Olson in 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced.

She retired as a librarian for the Davis County and worked with the Bookmobile for 25 years.

Mildred was a member of the LDS Church and served as chorister for 39 years.

She loved gardening and quilting.

Surviving are her sons, Paul (Sharon) Olson, Rose Park; Robert (Kathy) Olson, Murray; Boyd (Dorie) Olson, West Valley; daughter, Lynne Kildow, Idaho Falls, ID; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Raymond, two sisters, Beatrice and Thelma.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Farmington City Cemetery. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Farmington Stake Center, 347 So. 200 W., Farmington.
