Michelle Bingham

August 4, 1964 — June 28, 2023

How do you write a traditional obituary for someone who didn't live a traditional life? We assume you don't! So let us tell you about our daughter, sister, mother, grandma, and friend.

Marie Michelle Bingham was born August 4, 1964, to Richard and DeLila Bingham in Ogden, Utah.

She was a mud-loving, barefoot, ballerina, hippie chick that kept her parents on their toes from the get go! She was full of sass, and always on the go. To say there were no worries with this child would be a lie. She was always up to something mischievous and fun! What can we say, some kids are just born wild and free.

Michelle lived many lives, enough to make a cat jealous. At a young age she welcomed her sons, Shae and Tyson. She wasn't a typical mom that's for sure, but she loved spoiling her boys. She always made sure they had the latest and greatest toys and clothes to wear. She was known for her skills of procuring the most desirable hard to get toys for them for Christmas, even if it meant taking a few people out at Toys-R-Us to get the last 2 Teddy Ruxpins in the State! And to date we're pretty sure we have the only Blue Tickle Me Elmo in the World that she made sure her nephew got for Christmas.

Michelle was a Jill of all trades, whatever she wanted to do she did it. Over the years she tried her hand at many things. She was a Casino Hostess, a Match Maker, a Realtor, a Counselor, and even a Madam in Wells Nevada (If anyone could pull that off it definitely was Michelle)!

Those of you who knew Michelle will understand the saying "to know her was to love her.” We've never met anyone who doesn't have a Michelle story to tell. And we're almost sure she might have been the original person to say "Hold my beer!" She could make the dullest night fun, and leave you with one hell of a story to tell. She was definitely the life of the party.

Michelle touched many lives over the years. She was generous with all that she had, and was always up to fight for the underdog. Or just up for a good fight! Black Friday was her Superbowl, and you were not going to win if she was on the hunt for the Door Buster that's for sure!

For a short time, Michelle tried her hand at domestic bliss and married Ron Morrill in Wendover, Nevada. But as much as she tried, June Cleaver or Carol Brady's life was not her thing. So they separated and lived happily ever after as friends.

Michelle's gypsy soul served her well. She loved to travel and was always up for a good road trip! She was never one to have a plan, but always got where she was going. She never met a stranger, and if you met her along the way, we're sure you have a story to tell, too!

Unfortunately, not knowing what to say or how to say it when it comes to Michelle and the colorful life she led has ended us up here: we've said a lot, and could go on all night, which would make her very happy! You never got much sleep with Michelle around. She could talk your ear off and still keep going. We're sure she's loving this! But it's time to shut this party down and give you the basics. Which we're sure she's rolling her eyes and thinking... boring!

Anyway!

Michelle passed away on June 28, 2023. She was preceded in death by her dad, grandparents, grandson Jaden, multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins, so we're sure she was greeted in Paradise with open arms and a party... yeah, we're pretty sure the thunder the other day was no coincidence! Michelle arrived in heaven and kicked it off with a bang!

She is survived by her sons, Shae (Erin) Bingham and Tyson Bingham; her grandchildren, Cheyanne, Jackson, Chandler, Tayven and Kobe; her mom, DeLila Bingham; and her sisters, Lisa, Lesli, and TeAnn.

A celebration of Michelle's life will be held on Friday, July 7th, 2023, 3pm-5pm with a time of sharing at 4:00 p.m. at the Lindquist's Syracuse Mortuary, 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse, Utah 84075

In keeping with Michelle's spirit and fighting for the underdog the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers you please donate to "A Tall Order Foundation" https://www.atallorder.org/ for transitional housing for the homeless, or your local homeless shelter in her name.
