Maurine Willey

Maurine “Mo” Willey passed away June 13, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born December 20,

1930 to Marvin and Edna Jackson.

Grandma Willey loved her granddaughters and greats without condition, she never missed an

opportunity to tell her girls, and anyone else who would listen, how proud she was of them.

And there was never any doubt of her love for her children. She was married to the love of her

life and has missed her loving husband, Dee, for 32 years. It gives us peace in knowing that they

will be, once again, dancing in heaven. She was the small and mighty force that kept her family

together.

Maurine, also known by Mo to many of her friends, was loved by everyone she met. She was

always kind and happy and a joy to be with. In Mesquite where she spent her winters, everyone

in the park knew Mo – she brightened many days for many lives.

She is missed by her surviving family: daughter Debra Adamson, son Kevin Willey, son-in-law

Patrick Adamson, daughter-in-law Pat Willey, grandchildren Nicole Wood (Jim), Becki Berube

(Tim), Randi Lee and Cory Lynn Willey, and great granddaughters Ellie and Jessica Berube

(Bayley Dibble), Grace and Molly Kurfman, and Raven Dee Willey, and her sisters Deon Hatch

and Tamra Schlutz Secrist (Bill). Grandma is also survived by loving friends both old and new.

Maurine was preceded in death by her husband Dee, her parents, her sister Patty and her

brother Steve.

The world just lost another Angel, but her light will grace Heaven.

Graveside services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery,

1640 E. Lakeview Dr. Bountiful under the directions of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you think of Maurine and spend time with the ones you love.
