Mary Louise Boralho Pilarczyk

Born September 6, 1931, in Ogden, Utah, she passed away peacefully June 11, 2024, of natural causes.

She was the daughter of Joseph W. and Caroline Thompson Boralho and graduated from Ogden High School in 1949 and went to Weber College.

Mary married her sweetheart, Thomas E. Pilarczyk on September 12, 1952, in Ogden, Utah. Their much awaited daughter, Tamara Marie Pilarczyk Head, was born on May 16, 1962.

She was a member of the St. James the Just Catholic Church.

Mary exemplified the power of hard work throughout her life in everything she did and all that she accomplished.

In her younger years, she loved playing softball, fishing, working in her vegetable garden, her flower garden (especially her yellow roses), and pretty much anything outdoors.

Mary loved picnics in the canyon, family barbecues, and just being in her home. She loved when family, friends, and neighbors would stop by to visit with her so she could tell them her many beloved stories.

She loved all sports, especially watching the Utah Jazz and the Colorado Rockies, but mostly she loved watching the deer in her backyard.

Mary said she was proud and amazed to be the last surviving member of her Boralho family of nine. The last of a generation.

She was a blessing to everyone that knew her, and above all she loved her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her immediate family, and many extended family members and friends.

Special thanks to the staff at Pine View Transitional Center. She appreciated you all for taking such good care of her while she was there, and we appreciate you for taking care of her like she was your own family member.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. James the Just Catholic Church, 495 N. Harrison Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday, June 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. with a memories at 7 p.m.. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
