Mark Moulding, born March 26th, 1954, to Golda L. (Illum) Moulding and Delbert D. Moulding in Ogden, UT, the youngest son out of 5 brothers and 2 sisters, left this earth on March 17th 2026 after an extended illness.
Mark graduated from Ogden High in 1973. He enlisted in the Air Force and served in England and at Hill AFB for 3 years.
He worked many jobs, including construction and at Wheelwright Lumber, before beginning his career as a government employee. He worked at Defense Depot Ogden for a few years before going to work at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft electrician, then as a supervisor and retiring as a program manager in 2010. He had a deep love for ham radio and spent time connecting with people from all over the world. At Christmas he would let his nieces and nephews listen for Santa as Santa soared over the Americas.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his 4-wheeler. Above all, he cherished his family, spending time with his many nieces and nephews. Often taking them out for candy on Halloween.
He was a devoted son and brother, always bringing family together for burgers and hotdogs on the back patio during the many summer holidays. He lovingly cared for our Mother and Grandmother until her passing in 2000.
He is survived by brothers; LeRoy (Kaye) Moulding of Washington Terrace, Robert “Bob” Moulding of Layton, and brother-in-law Edmund A “Tony” Fretz of Layton, many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both his parents; his brothers Keith Moulding, and David Moulding; sisters, Sueann Eskleson and Carol Fretz; brother-in-law Shirl Eskleson; sister-in-law Rhela Moulding; nephews, Kody S Moulding and Sage Aaron Boren.
