Mark Allen Fiet

Mark Allen Fiet, 53, our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and grandpa peacefully completed his earthly journey surrounded by his loved ones on November 18, 2022. 

Mark was the youngest of three, born December 17, 1968 in Eugene, Oregon. He was then adopted by his parents, Lee and Marian Fiet. He was a wrestler, football player, and graduate of Bountiful High School. He then went on to serve an honorable two-year mission in New York City.

In 1994 he married Paula Barlow, his third grade crush. He became a proud father of his daughters, Lisa, Alexa, Tessa, Shania, and his only son, Kasdan.

Mark was the best example of hard work and love and he showed this by dedicating 25 years of his life to working at ABC Supply. 

In his free time, Mark loved longboarding, cooking, motorcycles, dogs, and most importantly, spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

He showed unconditional love to everyone brought into his life. He truly cherished everyone through the good and the bad. 

Mark is survived by his parents, Lee (Maelene) Fiet and Marian Fiet, his sister, Tracy (Neil) Corbridge, his brother, Michael (Lisa) Fiet, and his five children: Lisa (Andrew) Bossman, Alexa (Gavin) Stout, Tessa (Kayson) Choate, Shania Fiet and Kasdan Fiet, his three grandchildren,

and his best puppy pal, Eddie. 

He was preceded in death by Herman and Pernecia Fiet and his grandson, Easton Bossman. 

We truly appreciate the outpouring of love and support that has been given to our family at this time. 

A special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Lakeview Hospital. 

To our beloved dad: We cherish the memories we had with you. We thank you for your undying love.  Most importantly, we love you forever and always.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton Utah. Friends may visit with family from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
