Our loving sister, aunt, and friend, Marion Dickemore, 88, passed away on November 21, 2022. She was born February 4, 1934, to Clem and Bernice Stoker Dickemore in Ogden, Utah. She was the first of six children. She attended Weber County Schools, graduating from Weber High School. She was a resident of Farr West her entire life.

Marion began working at a young age at the Paramount Supreme with her family. She then began working in the optical profession as an optical assistant. She first worked at Standard Optical and then moved with the doctors to Optical Associates. She retired from Optical Associates at the age of 85. She enjoyed many friendships with those she served.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had been endowed at the Ogden Temple. Her favorite callings were bringing the Sacrament bread each Sunday and being a visiting teacher.

Marion throughout the years enjoyed embroidering, quilting, counted cross-stitch, tole painting, crocheting, and cooking. She liked sharing her banana nut bread and caramel corn. In recent years she learned to play the organ, liked to read, put jigsaw puzzles together and watch sports. She was also a fan of the Utah Jazz, Colorado Rockies, Duke and Gonzaga basketball. She enjoyed family get-togethers on holidays and special occasions.

Marion is survived by her siblings, Norine McPhee of North Ogden, Ellen Wilkerson of Farr West, Ronald (Lynn) Dickemore of Idaho Falls, and Lee (Tamara) Dickemore of Farr West and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Dickemore; brothers-in-law, Jim Wilkerson and Gary McPhee; and nephew, Scott Dickemore.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Farr West Poplar State Center, 1745 North 2300 West, Farr West, Utah. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2950 North, North Ogden.

Marion lived her life simply and quietly serving and loving others along the way. Thanks to all those who made her life full and blessed.
