Marianne Housley

Marianne Housley passed away on June 15, 2025 in Clearfield, Utah. She was born December 9, 1931 in Bear River City, Utah to Joseph Lorenzo and Ella Zinck Johnson. She was a graduate of Bear River High School.

She sold real estate in the Ogden area and was one of the first female real estate sales persons in the area.

She loved her yard work and was an avid golfer belonging to a number of women’s association’s in Northern Utah.

She married Lewis Housley on August 26, 1951 in Elko, Nevada. They were blessed with two children; Randy and Christie Lou.

Anyone who ever came in contact with her loved her, she just had that way about her. She was a fantastic mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother!

Marianne was preceded in death by her husband Lewis and her grandson Brian Sean Housley.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Darcie) Housley, Christie Lou Housley, two grandchildren; Josh and Eric and two great-grandchildren; Maddi and Easton

Graveside services will be held Wednesday June 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland City Cemetery, Garland Utah.

The family would like to thank the staff of nurses and doctors at McKay-Dee Hospital and the staff at Chancellor Gardens and one particular special Med Tech, she knows who she is!
