Marian Lovina Dial Moulton

Marian Lovina Dial Moulton, 85, of Layton, UT passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 of causes incident to age.

Marian was born March 7, 1926 in Hyrum, UT to Willis Aaron and Ida Geneva Beckstrand Dial. She grew up in Logan, UT.

She married Boyd Lufkin Moulton on August 9, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in Colorado Springs, CO. She completed her nurses training and worked until their children were born. They were married for 39 years before Boyd passed away.

She enjoyed cake decorating and bread making. She also enjoyed origami and collecting hedgehog figurines. She was a very talented artist and her oil paintings bring joy to her family and friends.

She loved being with her family, being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was firm in her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children Judy Moulton Puterbaugh (Ron) of Boise, ID; Sharon Moulton Norviel (Mark) of Idaho Falls, ID; Ken Moulton (Gloria) of Otis, CO; Debra Moulton Petty of Idaho Falls, ID; Becky Moulton Russell (Jerry) of Frisco, TX; Reanna Moulton Rosenvall (Blake) of Layton, UT; Robert Moulton (Shelly) of Colorado Springs, CO; and Neil Moulton (Kristi) of Orem, UT; 33 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters June Dial Abrams Cottle (Leland) of Providence, UT; Loree Dial Farnes (Robert) of Bountiful, UT; and Linda Dial Norman (Grant) of Paradise, UT.

She is preceded in death by her husband Boyd Lufkin Moulton, her parents Willis and Ida Dial, her brothers Merlin and Glen, and sister, Erma Dial McCoy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Tri-Oaks LDS Chapel, 2375 E. 3225 N., Layton, UT. Friends may visit family Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs. Colorado.
