Margaret Mae Livingston

Margaret Mae Livingston of Clearfield, Utah passed away peacefully in her home on March 18, 2023.  Grandma was 95 years old.

Margaret was born on November 19, 1927, and was adopted by Arthur and Marietta Bergeson.  She was raised in Lewiston, Utah.

On January 24, 1947 she married Arnold Dale Livingston.  Their marriage was later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.  They raised six children.

Margaret was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She served an LDS mission to North Carolina with her husband and served in the Young Women’s Organization for decades.

She worked at Homer’s Market, Stimson’s Market, Sew and Save, and for the Davis County School District bus transportation system.

She was active in the Clearfield Kiwanis, PTA, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and many friend groups.  She once was a Lunch Lady at Sunset Elementary.  Margaret was always the life of the party.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, her husband, her daughter Linda, grandson Brian, and daughter-in-law Fairy.

She is survived by her children, Earl (Gale), Ogden, Laura Kirby (Craig), Farmington, Max, West Point, Sharon Hallesey, North Ogden, and Jeanne Dahl (Kevin), Layton, 10 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Margaret’s granddaughter’s Heather and Jenna, and all the angels from A-Plus Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023at 11:00 a.m. at the Clearfield 17^th Ward, 350 Vine Street, Clearfield, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church .

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
