Known as Marcie or Marc to her family and friends, Marcie passed away on November 28, 2022. She was born September 19, 2000 at Ogden Regional Hospital. Beautiful daughter to Frank R. Lundquist and Roxanne E. Lundquist and the best sister to her “Bubba” Timothy W. Jenkins, who she loved and adored. She instantly fell in love with her sister-in-law Kiersten Jenkins, who was truly her sister.
Marcie attended North Park Elementary and Sandridge Jr. High school where her love for sports began. She would later go on to attend Roy High School. Marcie’s love for sports included softball, basketball, and tennis, which she would go on to letter in while playing on her high school teams. Marcie was also very artistic; she loved to draw, do ceramics, and paint. She had a love for anything cosmetics related. Marcie also loved to watch her brother play football and never missed a game.
Marcie made so many friends along the way. Whether it was playing her first basketball team, The Glamour Girls, or playing softball where she met some of her lifelong best friends.
Marcie was employed for three years at Harmon’s Grocery Store in Roy where she made plenty of other friends and touched many hearts. She was currently employed at Clinton Dental Group where she met and made amazing friends and touched their hearts as well.
Everything Marcie did in her short time on this earth was done with passion, perseverance, strength, and pride. Her greatest passion was the love for her family, both here in Utah and in California. She loved life and had a smile that would light up the sky. Her beautiful eyes told her loving story and when she looked at you, you were able to see the love she had for you. She had many friends who she cared for so deeply and would do anything for. If you knew Marcie you loved her, and she loved you.
Marcie is preceded in death by her grandparents Frank G. Lundquist and Lura L. Lundquist, and Pearl W. Jenkins and Marcella L. Jenkins. She never got to meet her grandparents but we can take comfort in knowing that they are all together and holding her close. Marcie is also preceded by her uncle Terry Allen and Aunt Linda Allen of California.
Marcie is survived by her parents, Frank and Roxanne Lundquist; brother Timothy Jenkins and sister-in-law Kiersten Jenkins; cousins Kara Allen and Marty Allen; second cousins Nicholas Crawford, Nathan Crawford, Saavedra Allen, and Jesseira Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday December 8, 2022 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. There will be a live streaming of the service on-line as well. Marcie may be gone from this earth, but those who knew her and loved her will hold her in their hearts forever.
