Lyndsay Lynette Wayment

Lyndsay Lynette Wayment, 83, passed away on May 12, 2023. She was the daughter of George F. and Flossie E. Bingham Deem. 

She married Darrel R. Wayment on February 8, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Darrel passed away on February 18, 2022 after 65 years together. Lyndsay had many talents, including floral design, along with interior decorating. She was also known to be meticulous in her home and appearance.

Lyndsay was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held a number of callings in the church, and strived to carry out her assignments in a manner pleasing to those whom she served. Her favorite assignments were singing in the choir and teaching the youth of the church. 

Lyndsay is survived by her sons, Kevin and Lori Wayment, Scott and Sylvia Wayment, Daniel and Jennifer Wayment; daughter, Vickie and Steven Bird; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel; daughter, Debbie L. Higley; grand-daughters, Penny and Jennifer Higley; parents and brothers, Gene, and Vaughn Deem.  She was greatly loved by her family and friends and will surely be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Monte Vista Ward House 3845 South 2000 West, Roy. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
