Ludean Topham Eames passed away August 13, 2015 of complications from pneumonia incident to age. Mom was born July 10, 1928 in Cedar City, Utah to Angus R. and Louisa Wilcock Topham. Mom grew up in Paragonah and spent her summers on the ranch in Bear Valley, Utah.  Mom had a lifelong love of the red rocks of southern Utah. Mom graduated from Parowan High School. Mom married John (Jay) Lawrence Eames October 7, 1959, and lived most of her life in Bountiful, Utah.

Mom is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including as an ordinance worker at the Salt Lake Temple with her eternal companion, Jay. Mom and Dad also served in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. Mom was a member of the Lakeside Ladies Golf Association, and spent many hours volunteering with the PTA as well as an election judge.

Mom is survived by her children: Laura Ann McGavin (Brent), Mary Louise Knight (Lurlen), Linda Sue Williams (Jim), George L. Eames (Mardee), 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by Jay and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E, Bountiful, UT (construction access from via 900 North). Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, August 16, from 6 - 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff at the Fairfield Village assisted living facility and the wonderful nurses with Inspiration Hospice for their caring and concern.
