Bountiful

Louise was born in Brigham City, Utah on May 28, 1926, to Arvil and Lillie Bywater Forsgren. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and enjoyed serving in a variety of callings. She attended Liberty Elementary, Lincoln Jr. High and South High in Salt Lake City.

Growing up, she loved sports. Her favorites were tennis, swimming and ice skating often at Liberty Park. She married the love of life Ben Brown, and her brother Ferron performed their marriage which made it especially meaningful. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple.

They were the parents of two children: Becky (Mike) Bessey and Mike (Gianna) Brown. She loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with them, along with traveling and cruising together. Louise has 6 grandchildren: Sara (Mike) Carter, Michela Brown, and Alexander (Ashley) Brown. Chad (Annie) Salisbury, Jason (Clarissa) Bessey and Benjamin Bessey. The following great-grandchildren joined the family: Mykelle, Daxton, London Bessey. Hazen, Corbin, and twins Tamry and Tessey Salisbury, Violet and Vitali Carter, Grayson Ritchie, Alaina and Aniyah Brown. She is also blessed to have two great-great-grandkids: Hayes andCache.

Her working career included 15 years at the City and County building, Juvenile Court, County Attorney’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office. The family had a career opportunity and moved to Albuquerque. They returned to Utah and moved to Bountiful to be close to her siblings. Ben and Louis opened “Browns Western Wear” in Bountiful. She also worked with her sister Ida at Monroc for about 13 years.

Special thanks to CeCe and her family for their gentle, loving and kind care. She was blessed to have her wish to remain in her home. Proceeded in death by parents Lillie and Arvil Forsgren, husband Ben Brown, daughter Becky and son in-law Mike Bessey, daughter-in-law Melissa Bessey and her 6 siblings, Opal Christensen, Ferron, Keith, James, and Bob Forsgren, and Ida Mitchell along with their spouses.
