Lori Schiffman

Lorie Schiffman, 60, of Salt Lake City, passed away on November 20, 2022 surrounded by family. Lorie was born January 16, 1962 in Salt Lake City to Norman H. and Carol F. Schiffman. Lorie was the fourth of six children born into the loving home of Norm and Carol. Lorie came to this earth as a special angel and a loving gift from God to bless the lives of all those who know her.

Lorie’s gift from God was to be protected from the ills of this world, her perfect innocence allowed her heavenly countenance to shine brightly all though her life. Lorie loved her family, and extended family, with a child-like love that was pure and genuine. Lorie’s smile and laughter will resonate forever within the souls of all those who were close to her. Lorie loved Big Macs, stuffed animals, coloring books, shopping sprees with family, good movies, and especially Diet Coke.

As Lorie’s sacred hour approached when she would graduate with honors from this life, her last words in mortality were “can you see her now?” Her family knows her sweet mom Carol, was allowed to come and assist Lorie on her journey back into the arms of her Heavenly Father.

Her family does not think of her as gone away - Her journey will continue on in sweet eternity.

Lorie is survived by her father, Norman Schiffman; brothers, Mike

Schiffman, Curt Schiffman (Cheryl), Matt Schiffman (Laura); sisters, Christy

Baird (Mark), Carolann Ryan (Cameron). She was preceded in death by

her mother, Carol Schiffman and her grandparents.

The family desires to sincerely thank all the staff at Columbus Community Center, and Foothill where she resided for many years. Your love and care of Lorie for many years is deeply appreciated.

A Memorial Service will be held in Lorie’s behalf on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 23^rd Ward, 787 East 1700 North. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Smithfield Cemetery, Smithfield, Utah
