Lonee Ann Harmon

It is with great sadness that the family of Lonee Ann Harmon announces her passing after a six-year battle with cancer, on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the age of 49 years.

Lonee will be lovingly remembered by her husband of seven years, Chad; her children, stepson Chase Harmon (23) and biological sons Seth (20) and Jake (15) Shipley; her father, Dean and stepmother, Pat Larson; her sister, Shawna Gillen; step brothers and sister, Brad, Ryan, and Alisa Lewis, and brother and sister in-law, LJ Gillen and Jenny Lewis.

There was nothing more important to Lonee than her boys. It was her mission every day to care for, nurture, and raise them to become great men one day (Chad included). Lonee lived her life with a full heart and a body full of energy. She was at home and at peace in nature. If the sun was shining it was a good day. She loved to hike and paddle board or simply walk her two little dogs. She found beauty in simple everyday things and could never have too many flowers. Lonee never allowed herself to become a victim to her illness. Even when struggling, she was always concerned about her family and others, sharing her love and caring for them. She was the epitome of strength, growth, weathering the storm, leaning towards the sun and never giving up. Lonee was a beautiful soul; so brave, selfless, and as tough as a person can possibly be. Lonee enriched the lives of so many with her kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine nature.  She was butterflies and flowers; she was rainbows and unicorns. As a bright shining light on this world, Lonee was our angel here on earth and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Lonee will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., at the Alpine Church Layton Campus, 254 W 2675 N Layton, UT, with Pastor Shawn Bagley officiating. Lonee’s wishes were to be cremated and to not have a public viewing. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
