LAYTON a€" Lois Helen Maroney, 86, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at her home.

She was born August 14, 1925 in Gettysburg, South Dakota the daughter of Wilbur and Mirtle Crawford Munyon.

Lois married Donald G. Maroney in 1944 in South Dakota.

During her life she worked for the Old Crossroads CafAC. in Farmington, Woolworth''s in Roy and managed a mobile home court in Layton for over 30 years.

Lois belonged to the bowling association and attended Autumn Glow Senior Citizen Center for the last five years of life, enjoying their company tremendously. She loved bowling, golfing, camping, gardening and family get togethers.

Surviving are her sons, Donavon F. (Sylvia) Maroney, Syracuse; Lonnie R. (Becky) Maroney, daughter-in-law, Milly (Mark Larson), son-in-law, Dave Cunningham, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren, and brother, Ralph Munyon, Rapid City, SD.

Preceded in death by her husband, son Ricky W. Maroney, daughter, Diana Cunningham and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
