Lindsey Kate Gold passed peacefully in her sleep December 6, 2025. She was born on July 9, 1988 in Ogden, Utah to Glen David Fikstad and Sandra (Sandy) Renee Love (who passed when Lindsey was young). Lindsey has one sister, Whitney (Destiny) Fikstad and one brother Colby (Robert) Fikstad from Glenn and Sandy. When Glenn remarried, she gained Janae as a mom and sister Brittany (Jacob) Hanson and brother Garrett Jones
Lindsey grew up in Kaysville and Layton, Utah and attended Davis High School. Lindsey had three children – Kayden T. Ford, Harmony R. Ford, and Brooklyn S. Ford when she met and married Chandler M. Gold, who was always her steadfast supporter, on September 20, 2014. Together they added two daughters – Makayla A. Gold and Riley K. Gold to their wonderful family.
Lindsey enjoyed gardening, in the summer and fall always having excitement checking for the next ripe thing. She also ran a produce co-op, taking orders for fruits and vegetables which she had taken a step back from the last couple of years. She was also very creative and enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds which she would sometimes sell. She made many friends through service and receiving service, she was kind and thoughtful, always offering help including (donating her organs to U of U hospital and those in need). Her greatest interest, however, was always her family-they were always #1. She liked and looked forward to vacations in Island Park, Idaho yearly and taking her children to the dollar night movies at Kaysville Theatre.
Lindsey suffered with health problems the last several years of her life but stayed strong and hopeful.
She was preceded in death by her mom Sandy. She is survived by her husband Chandler Gold, her children Kayden, Harmony, Brooklyn, Makayla, and Riley. her father Glenn (Janae), her siblings Whitney (Destiny), Brittany (Jacob), Colby (Robert), and Garrett ,nephew Hunter, an adopted grandmother, Barbara Dibble, her in-laws, Mike and Ina Gold.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 12, 2025 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 925 Deseret Drive Kaysville , Utah. Family and friends may visit Thursday December 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
