Linda Ann Sneddon Mullen

November 10, 1944 — May 18, 2023

Our sweet mother Linda Ann Sneddon Mullen passed from this earthly journey on May 18, 2023, at the age of 78. She waited for all three of her children to be together before giving us one single tear and returning to her eternal home.

We are heartbroken but so proud of her and the amazing life she lived full of service and building up of the Kingdom of God here on the earth. She cherished being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of her favorite callings were serving in Young Women’s, Relief Society, Seminary and serving as Ward Mission leader.

She had a strong belief in strengthening women and was a wonderful example as the Matriarch of our family. She believed women were strong and could do anything they set their heart on. Some of the many professions she did were Real Estate Agent, Data Processing, Secretary and Computer Services. Her favorite job, as noted in her journal, was working with the Special Education children from elementary to high school age. They filled her days with true joy.

She was born the fifth of sixth children on November 10, 1944 in Ogden, Utah to Russell Clyde and Annabelle Longstroth Sneddon.

She married David Marshall Hunt and together they raised four children; Davey, Mark, Lori and Windy. They created many beautiful and happy memories starting off in Ogden and later in Las Vegas. She later married Gil in 1990 and enjoyed many adventures with him from foster parenting, traveling, temple work and serving others.

Linda is survived by her children, Lori and Brian McCoy, Mark and Shelly Hunt and Windy and John Hasson. Also survived by her sisters, Donna Evans and Anne and Randy Prisbrey. Also survived by many dear grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was looking forward to reuniting with her eternal companion, William Gillespie Mullen; her son, David Russell Hunt; her parents and many, many other loved ones. She was passionate about family history, and we are sure she is loving to be able to hear firsthand their many stories. She was proud of her pioneer heritage, and it gave her strength in time of need.

We will be celebrating her life on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 10:15 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.

We are inviting all friends and family to join us in a catered family picnic, after the graveside services. North Ogden Elementary Park, 2650 North 500 East, North Ogden, Utah.
