Linda Paskins McFarland

Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda Paskins McFarland, 76, passed away April 17, 2023 in Farr West, Utah.  She was born September 3, 1947 in Treasureton, Idaho to Thomas Eugene Paskins and Beatrice McCarrol.

She married Frank M. McFarland on January 26, 1982, in Preston, Idaho.  They were later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple.  She was previously married to Richard Loper.

Linda was active in Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions until her deteriorating health prevented her from continuing.

Linda was a very gifted homemaker and cook.  She loved reading, homemaking, riding horses, boating, and gardening.

She contracted Parkinson’s Disease and suffered greatly from that disease.  She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Frank McFarland, Farr West; her sons, Darin (Jeanette) McFarland, Warren, Utah; and Cary (Vandi) McFarland, Brigham City, Utah; her daughters, Megan McFarland, Perry, Utah; Sheri McFarland, Madison Wisconsin; and Gina (Emmett) White, Layton, Utah; brothers Mac Neil Paskin, Treasureton, Idaho; and Creig Paskins, Ogden, Utah; and sister, LaNee Paskins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Misty (Cody) Hess; her parents, Gene and Beatrice; and brothers, Kirk and Terry Paskins.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Farr West 3^rd Ward, 1745 North 2300 West.  Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
