Beloved mother and grandmother

Lillian Thiele Casias left us to be with the Lord on November 24, 2019. She was born on October 19, 1934 to Abel and Maria M. Martinez Atencio in Ignacio, Colorado.

Lillian married Larry P. Thiele, who preceded her in death in 1984. She married Chrestino Casias, whom she first met at Ignacio High School. Chrestino recently went to be with the Lord in 2019.

Lillian is survived by five loving children, Helen, Rick (Margie), Jeff (Khrisi), Terry (Cynthia), and Steve. Lillian’s step-children (Chrestino) are Anthony, Kristine, Paul and Rory. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Maria M. Martinez Atencio.

Lillian loved the Lord Jesus and raised her children to love God by her own example in life.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Chapel Street, Layton. Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
