Lexie Dean Manco, Age 18, of Layton, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

 Lexie was born October 11, 2005 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Katie Dayton and Matthew Manco.

 Lexie loved school and learning. She was a straight A student. Attended North Layton Junior high where she received the academic title of Valedictorian and played basketball for the school team. Lexie attended Northridge High School where she graduated early with High Honors in 2022.

 Lexie loved the culinary arts and soon after finishing school she began her career working at restaurants in Farmington and Salt Lake City. She started out as a line cook and promoted to Head Chef and again to General Manager. 

 Lexie especially loved reading, cooking, traveling, shopping, watching movies, working out and listening to music. She had two cats that she loved and called her babies.

 Lexie was very close to her older brother Daxton, and her younger sister Brexlyn. They were inseparable. Her family has many great memories of Lexie, including family trips to Yellowstone, Disneyland, and Mexico. Lexie loved visiting her family in North Carolina over the summers.

 Lexie is survived by her mother Katie, her father Matt, her brother Daxton Manco, her sister Brexlyn Johnson, her niece Brighton Manco, two amazing bonus dads Dusty Palmer, Britt Johnson and their wonderful families, her grandparents Dean and Jeri Dayton, Kathleen Sistrunk and Edward Manco, and aunts and uncles.

 Lexie’s most stunning smile, intelligence, strong will and beauty will be missed by family and friends. Her potential was endless.

  A Visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., at Lindquist Mortuary, 1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041.
