Leon “Lenny” Earl Taylor, 63, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016.

He was born September 25, 1953 in Sacramento, California to Earl John and Alice Taggart Taylor.

On December 27, 1975, Lenny married Elizabeth “Betsy” Bond in the Oakland LDS Temple.

Lenny is survived by his wife, Betsy, Roy; two daughters, Kelly Taylor Kelly, Arlington, TX; Lauren Taylor Khan, Buenos Aires, Argentina; six grandchildren; his mother, Alice T. Taylor, Provo; three brothers, Keith S. Taylor, Plano, TX; Jeffrey A. Taylor, Farmington; Philip A. Taylor, Los Altos, CA; four sisters, Anne T. Chambers, Provo; Margaret N. Leckie, Lehi; Barbara L. Benac, Dallas TX; and Ruth E. Ruffe, Fresno, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl, sister, Rebecca Taylor, son, Christian Taylor, and granddaughter, Avery Khan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Roy 17th Ward Chapel, 5725 South 3750 West. The family will meet with friends Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lehi Cemetery.
