Leah Brown Morgan, 91, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2012.

She was born December 28, 1920, in Farmington, Utah, the daughter of Archibald Stuart Brown and Iva Nettie Smith. She married Don Gaylen Morgan June 20, 1940, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Leah was a life-long resident of Farmington. She graduated from Davis High School. She loved the gospel and was a stalwart member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many positions, including a mission with her husband in the Ogden Utah Mission. For 30 years Leah worked in the nursery of South Davis Community Hospital caring for newborns.

She was a wonderful wife and companion, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She was a fun loving grandmother. Leah enjoyed gardening, handwork, cooking and reading. She and Don were members of the Good Sams Trailer Club and enjoyed camping and hiking, especially in the Sawtooth Mountains.

She is survived by children, Linda Gay Newman, Don Lee (Paulette), Martie Richins (Roger), Ramon (Lori), 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Don, parents and siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Farmington Orchard Ward, 1533 N. 1075 W., Farmington. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary 400 N. Main, Kaysville and one hour prior to the services at the church.
