LAUREL MAE FUNK BEVAN

1944-2022

Laurel Mae Funk Bevan passed away January 22, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born June 14, 1944, to Clark Oliver Stewart and Opal Kay Cameron in Los Angeles, California, she enjoyed the beach, music, dancing, the mountains, sewing, and cooking. Our mother was beautiful, smart, and loving. She was a compassionate person that cared deeply for her family and friends. She enjoyed sharing her wisdom with her children and many others. Laurel treasured every moment she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren, and family.

Laurel is preceded in death by her parents Clark and Opal Stewart, brother Danny Neil, husband Jerry Lee Funk, son Rodney Funk, daughter Kimberly Funk, and grandson Cash Bevan.

She is survived by her sister Veda Kay Meyer (Gene), niece Suzanne O’dell, and nephew Danny O'dell; her children Teresa Isakson Thompson (Carl), Jeanette Funk Kendall, Brett Funk, Tyler Funk (Kim), Cameron Funk (Chell), Travis Bevan, and Christopher Bevan (Kara); her grandchildren Stevie Isakson (Jordan), Braxton Kendall, Kaden Kendall (Carly), Maggio Funk, Chase Funk, Elese Funk, Ashton Ivie, Ellie Ivie, and Ava Bevan; her great-grandchildren Preston Kendall and Collin Kendall.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.  Bountiful, UT 84010. Family Graveside Services will take place on Friday, January 28th at 2:00 pm at the Ferron City Cemetery, 200 N. 300 W. Ferron, UT. 84523
