Larry Michael Mumford

Larry Michael Mumford passed away peacefully on January 27, 2012 in Ogden. Larry was born August 16, 1952 in Ogden, Weber, Utah. He was the son of Lawrence Elwood "Buss" and Ellen Louise Ekstrom Mumford.

He attended Ogden City Schools. He married Gayle Opikens and they were later divorced.

Larry had worked for the Country Club Golf Course and at Focus Telemarking and at Internal Revenue Service.

In recent years, he had volunteered at the Salvation Army in Ogden. He made a great many friends there and enjoyed the work of helping people.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Larry is survived by brother, David L. (Catheryn) White, Layton; and sister, Linda Hedge, Tooele; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, J. Lawrence and Alvina Mumford and John and Margret Von Bergen Ekstrom and Larry Hedge a brother-in-law.
