Larry Cross

August 4, 1951 — December 4, 2021

Larry  E Cross

On December 4, 2021, with family by his side Larry took his last earthly breath and entered into eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Our grief at times is almost unbearable at losing such a loving husband, father, brother and friend. we find some comfort knowing that he no longer suffers from the cancer that took him away.

Larry was born to Harry and Maxine Cross on August 4, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He was the fourth of five children.  He grew up in Bountiful and graduated from Viewmont High School.  He worked in the glass business alongside his father and was a member of the Utah National Guard.  At age 24 he pursued a lifelong career of truck driving.  In 1978 he met the love of his life, Jeanne, and they were married a year later on October 20, 1979.  They happily celebrated 42 years together.

Larry was blessed with six children, 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.  While his job kept him from home much of the time his heart was for his family, sacrificing his personal needs for theirs.

Larry loved the Lord and was a born-again believer who knew his own good works could never merit him a place in heaven. He was a member of the Kaysville Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne, children; Sandi (Brett), Jory (Yolanda), Julie, Stephanie (Keith), Kellie (Kyle), Adam (Crisi), sister Chris (Richard), brother Steve (Brenda), sister-in-law Traute, numerous nieces / nephews, and all of his loving grandchildren / great grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathleen, brother Lynn, and grandson Tim.

Please join us to honor Larry’s life on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at  2:00 p.m. at  the Kaysville Bible Church, 181 N. Flint St. Kaysville, Utah.
