LaRee Schvaneveldt Bauerle

LaRee Schvaneveldt Bauerle passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Weston, Idaho on August 14, 1922 to Erastus and Hannah May Schvaneveldt and was the twelfth of thirteen children. Her early childhood was hard as she was orphaned by the age of thirteen. She lived with family and friends until she moved to Salt Lake City at the age of 20. She met her sweetheart Hugo Bauerle through mutual friends and was married in 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. During the early years of their marriage they lived in Idaho and Clearfield, Utah. They moved to Roy, Utah in 1954 and lived there for the next 50 years until they moved to Heritage Place in Bountiful.

They were blessed with four children: Ken and Betty Bauerle of Fruit Heights, Lee and Brenda (Bates) Bauerle of Murray, Mark and Vickie Barton of Clinton and John and Dixie Taft of West Bountiful. She was also blessed with 18 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

Mom loved her family and treasured time with each one of them. She took pride in her home and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a cook extraordinaire. She specialized in desserts and hand dipped chocolates which everyone looked forward to receiving. LaRee had a close relationship with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent many happy moments together. She was aware of her family''s needs and cared about even the smallest detail. LaRee also loved her extended family staying close to them and serving as a second mother to many of them. She will be truly missed by all but we take comfort in knowing that she is with Hugo again.

We would like to thank the staff of Heritage Place of Bountiful and the Lakeview Hospital for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
