LaRae Kite

December 22, 1947 — April 13, 2022

LaRae Kite was the most loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She left this world suddenly on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

She was born to Jess Gyle and Edna Needham on December 22, 1947. She was one of nine children. She graduated from Ogden High school and married the love of her life, David Ray Kite. They were later sealed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Manti temple.

Together they had four children: Cherelle, Natalie, Kristina, and Matthew (Brandon), 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren that they cherished more than anything else.

LaRae retired from a career in civil service at Hill Air Force Base. After her retirement, she and David loved spending their time together traveling in their 5th wheel RV. If you knew LaRae, you knew her family was the most important thing in her life. She loved cooking for them, and doing anything to spend time together. She loved family trips to Disneyland and created so many fond memories there. She was the best listener and advice giver, she loved her family with the truest form of unconditional love.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, her sister Michele and son in law Robert. We know the reunion she had in heaven was beautiful.

She is survived and will be so greatly missed by her seven siblings, children and grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday April 18, 2022  at 2:00 PM at the Syracuse Cemetery.
