Lance Hess

FARMINGTON a€" Lance Hess, 31, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Heritage Park Care Center in Roy.

He was born September 11, 1980 in Layton, Utah a son of Rodney Lynn and Patricia Nielsen Hess.

He was a lifetime resident of Farmington and attended Knowlton Elementary and Farmington Jr. High. Later went on to get his GED. He was also in the 4-H Club.

He worked at Lifetime in Freeport Center, Colonial Lumber in Centerville and Winrock Trucking in Salt Lake City. Lance enjoyed the outdoors.

Surviving are his two daughters, Tia Nicole and Hailey Lynn Hess, his parents, two brothers, Bradley L. (Tiffany) Hess of Syracuse; Shane R. (Jodi) Hess, Union, ORE; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Royce Nielsen of Kaysville.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
