Koreen Sue Billings Campbell
May 25, 1971 ~ April 15, 2022

As a result of injuries sustained by her riding horse running over her at the conclusion of the 2014 Ogden City Christmas Light Parade, Koreen’s life came to an end on April 15, 2022. She has been locked in her body for more than seven years, unable to move, eat or communicate verbally. She did however have a brilliant mind and was able to recognize those who came to visit her and could respond to questions by nodding or shaking her head. Even though she couldn’t speak she enjoyed laughing, had a quick wit and great sense of humor.

Koreen was born May 25, 1971, in Arcadia, California, to Keith and Sharon Billings. Keith and Sharon relocated to Harrisville, Utah in 1992. Koreen came to Utah in 1996.

She graduated from Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, California. She worked at In and Out Burger and graduated from the In and Out University, Valedictorian of her class in California. After moving to Utah, she began working at Sam’s Club in the snack bar. Koreen continued to move up in the organization with increased responsibility eventually becoming the lead auditor of the Sam’s Club Region covering the area between Boise, Idaho and Provo, Utah. She held the bar high, was the number one auditor also responsible for training others to her standards. She was often employee of the month. It was at Sam’s Club in Ogden, Utah where she met the love of her life and they began their life together in January of 2001.

Koreen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Farr West Third Ward, where she served in the Nursery and Relief Society and has many friends as a result of her callings there.

She was the mother of two adult children, a daughter, Kassandra ReNae Billings and a son, Timothy Dawson “Scooby” Campbell.

Koreen is survived by her daughter, Kassandra ReNae Billings of Tremonton, Utah; son, Timothy Dawson “Scooby” Campbell of Farr West, Utah; parents, Keith and Sharon Billings of Farr West, Utah; siblings, Kelly (Teresa) Billings of Perry, Utah; Raelyn (James) Beckman of Renton, Washington; Kevin (Kimra) Billings of Ventura, California; and Kimberly Kerr of Harrisvile, Utah; 20 nieces and nephews plus spouses and 32 grandnieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
