Kenneth Charles Walters

Kenneth Charles Walters of Chandler, Arizona passed away March 27, 2012 at age 77 after a valiant battle with diabetes. He was born August 15, 1934 in Magna, Utah. He was the last surviving child of Alfred B. and Hazel Kate Steadman Walters.

He married his sweetheart of 56 years, Betty Jean Schwinn in 1955.

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing is survived by his wife; son, Scott (Susan) Walters; daughter, Traci (Ken) Layton; and three granddaughters, Brooke, Sydney and Whitney.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Walters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Ward Chapel, 800 West Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ 85248 with visitation one hour prior to services. Arizona services entrusted to the Bunker Family Funeral Home.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Ben Lomond Cemetery. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Flowers may be sent to either mortuary.
