Kenneth Eugene Barry passed away at the age of 68, on January 24, 2023, in Clearfield, Utah.

He was born on September 24, 1954, in Pennsylvania. He, his parents, Elaine and Floyd Hammer, and sister, Sherry moved to Utah when he was a child. He married Lori Maxwell on April 17, 2008.

He loved the outdoors, spending many hours hiking and hunting. He enjoyed taking his dogs – Rocko and Gizmo – with him when he hiked. He also loved reading and doing logic puzzles.

He proudly served in The United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman during the end of the Vietnam War. He worked as a civil contractor after his time in the military.

He is survived by his first wife, Darla; and their five children: daughter, Lisa; son Jeremy (Kelly); daughter, Tanna (Lee); daughter, Laura (Dax); and daughter, Trisha (Rob). He had 11 grandchildren. He also is survived by his current wife, Lori; his sister, Sherry (Patrick); and his dog, Tuffy.

He will be laid to rest at Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park at 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10:45 a.m. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 South 2000 West, Syracuse, Utah.
