Kelsee Williams

October 23, 1986 — November 21, 2023

Our beloved Kelsee Williams came into this world on October 23, 1986—a beautiful, shining ray of light with stunning golden locks and beaming blue eyes. Her passion for adventure and her love of horses stole her heart for a time, and she delighted in the joys and bonds she shared, especially while riding horseback in her spare time or while shining bright at the occasional rodeo. In addition to having a wildly adventurous older brother to look up to, Kelsee stood proud as a big sister to five younger siblings, whom she adored deeply. She loved her moments to lead, care for, or simply 'boss' them around (in typical big sis fashion) - even though her next youngest sis, Desirae, always gave her a run for her money. But these two shared a bond unlike any other and kept each other strong, driven, and curious through their younger years.

On March 4, 2008, Kelsee was blessed with a beautiful baby boy of her own, Carson - blonde hair and blue-eyed, just like his mama. If Kelsee thought being a big sister was grand, being a mother lit up her heart and filled her life with joy. She saw the world in his eyes and everything a mother could dream of for her son. Life had taken her in several directions, and like many, she had also dealt with tremendous challenges, but, like the warrior she always was, she fought back at life with fire in her blood for as long as she could.

On November 21, 2023, Kelsee gained her polished angel wings and now watches over her son and her family from the heavens above.

She is survived by her son, Carson; mother, Jessica Evans and stepfather, Scot Evans; her siblings, Joshua Williams, Desirae (Preston) Broadhead, Hollie Evans, Zachary Williams, Taylor Evans, Courtney Evans, Brandon Williams, Kylee Williams, and Talyn Evans. She is now lovingly embraced by her father, Shance Williams. Her ray of light is brightened and lives on in the hearts of all who knew her precious soul.

In the graceful words of Celine Dion:
Fly, fly, little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again

Fly, fly, precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this memory bittersweet
Until we meet

Fly, fly, do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget

Fly, fly, little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right

Go now, find the light
