Kelly Dalton Sheffer

Kelly Dalton Sheffer passed away in the early morning hours of February 1, 2023, in the comfort of his sister’s home in West Valley City, Utah.

Kelly was born to Klin T Sheffer and Cleone Pulsipher on June 22, 1948, in Hurricane Utah.  Kelly was the eldest of 5 children, followed by Carol, Gwen, Roger and Arloa.

He is preceded in death by his namesake, his maternal uncle Dalton Pulsipher, who served in WWII in the 3^rd Infantry of the US Army and was killed in action in September 1944 in France.  He is also preceded in death by his mother Cleone, father Klin, brother Roger, sister Carol, and many friends who were also brothers to him.

He is survived by his sisters Gwen and Arloa, children Kit, Karen, and James Kelly, many nieces and nephews and friends, and Goddaughter Megan Smith - who is, and always will be “the apple of his eye.”

A Celebration of Life will be held in Kelly’s honor on Thursday, February 23^rd at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, located on 3900 South 4000 West, West Valley City, UT 84120.  Care entrusted to Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
