Kelly Rodney O'Brien

Kelly Rodney O’Brien, 64, passed away September 3, 2023. He was born May 2, 1959 in Ogden,
Utah to Rodney B. and Connie Beazer O’Brien.

Growing up Kelly lived in Layton, Utah playing baseball for Layton High School. He went to
SUSC to continue playing baseball.

Kelly had a love for baseball, fishing, hunting and all things outdoors.

Kelly is survived by his brother Doug (Lisa) O’Brien, nephews Levi (Elena) Shinkle, Zach (Beth)
O’Brien and Kaden O’Brien, along with numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joanie Shinkle; nephews, Justin Shinkle and Skylar O'Brien; grandparents; and his aunts and uncles.

Anyone that would like to honor Kelly is welcome to attend the Dedication of the grave at the
Syracuse Cemetery, 1250 South 1000 West at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
