Kelly Cunningham

May 4, 1955 — April 29, 2023

With tremendous sadness, we would like to inform you of the passing of Kelly Cunningham of Clearfield, Utah. Kelly entered peacefully into his Heavenly Father's arms on Saturday, April 29, 2023 after a long battle with liver cancer at the age of 67.

Kelly was born on May 4th 1955 to Richard D and Wanda R Cunningham. He was raised in Kaysville, Utah and spent many years with his brothers, cousins and friends playing in the hollow and hills off Mutton Hollow Road. He attended Davis High School until 1972, when he then entered into the armed services. He served his country during the Vietnam conflict. Kelly worked at HAFB and retired in 2007.

Kelly married the love of his life, Darla L. (Jensen) Cunningham On September 3rd, 1983. They were later sealed along with children for time and all eternity in the Ogden City Temple on May 3rd, 1986. Kelly and Darla spent 41 years together. Their love, their bond, and their devotion is something that will always serve as an example to their family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother.

Kelly's big hugs, his big heart, and Christ-like love is embedded as examples to his family and all who were privileged to know him. Kelly's love of music has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. Kelly had a great love and understanding of the Book of Mormon. His testimony was strong and he shared it frequently with family. He will forever be profoundly missed by all his family and those who were privileged to know him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr Cindie Dodenbier for her love, friendship, and care during this difficult time. Also to Bruce and Carolyn at C&B family medicine.

He is survived by his wife Darla Cunningham, children: Sean (Christie) Cunningham, Summer (Gavin) Cunningham, Melanie (Chad) Degraw, Jetson (Kristin) Cunningham, Jennifer Cunningham and Callie Cunningham.
