Keith Owen Thomas
1932-2024
Keith Owen Thomas completed his mortal experience March 26, 2024, in Bountiful, Utah. Born November 19, 1932, in Magna, Utah, to Jacob Elmer and Charlota Eliza Petersen Thomas, the fourth of seven children. Graduated from Cyprus High School, and from Utah State University where he affiliated with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Korean War veteran.
He married his eternal companion and sweetheart Alice Faye Miller September 7, 1962, in the Logan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served in many Church callings, most recently as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple. He retired from Thiokol Corporation and Marriott International.
He is survived by his wife; children Anne Haacke (Blaine), Bountiful; Michael (Jennifer), Belmont, Massachusetts; Mark (Steffani), Bristow, Virginia; Alicyn and Angela, Bountiful; ten wonderful grandchildren; and brother Richard Kim (Gloria). Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Bernice Towles, Margaret Lester, Fern Pixton, LaRae Naylor, and brother John Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 16th Ward, 720 East 550 North. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
The family sincerely thanks the staff of Elevation Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humanitarian Services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
