Keith William Coleman

October 26, 1932 ~ October 11, 2021

Keith William Coleman, 88, passed away at his home on Monday, October 11, 2021 of natural causes, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Ogden on October 26, 1932 to Thelma Green and William Daniel Coleman. Keith attended Ogden City School.

Keith married Carma Phelps in Ogden on May 12, 1955. They recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary. They were blessed with two daughters, Chris-deceased and Pam. Keith’s girls were his pride and joy.

He was a heavy equipment operator. After he retired, he was able to do what his passion was, rebuilding cars.

Keith loved all sports, but he mostly loved watching and playing baseball. He loved the Yankees, Packers, and Celtics. Keith was an avid bowler and excelled in bowling. He enjoyed bowling on numerous bowling leagues where he made lifetime friends.

He loved his dogs. When each dog he had passed away he made sure they had a burial spot that he could visit.

Keith had a kind heart and enjoyed donating oranges and turkeys to local homeless shelters at Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Carma; his daughter Pam (Blaine) Hansen, West Weber; 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Chris; his great-granddaughter, Katie; his parents, his in-laws, brother, Harold; and numerous other family members and friends.

Special thanks to Ashley (Keith’s nurse), Heather, Darrin, and Rebeka from hospice. Their compassion was greatly appreciated by Keith and his family. A special thanks to our guardian angel, Amelia, Keith’s nurse from Aspen Care. They say “angels walk among us” and Amelia through your loving care and continuous support it has certainly shown us that angels do indeed walk among us.
