Kathy Green Perry, 75, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Born on April 24, 1949, in Ogden, UT, she was the daughter of Kenneth H. and Wanda Kindred Green. On September 1, 1967, she married Don Cazier, and together they had four children: Nick, Brandon, Angie, and Michelle. Sadly, Angie passed away shortly after birth. Though Kathy and Don later divorced, they continued to hold their family close to their hearts.
Kathy worked at DDO and Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 2010. She was known for her sharp wit and often joked about her “sweet and sour” personality. She always had a joke up her sleeve to make those around her laugh. Her many talents included sewing, crocheting, gardening, cooking, and decorating. She was a lover of Christmas and gave generously throughout the seasons. She was an incredible grandmother. Kathy was deeply loved by her grandchildren, and she cherished each one of them. In recent years, she was a resident of Harrison Regent Independent Living, where she made wonderful friends who became like family. Her faith grew stronger, and she found a spiritual home at Ogden Valley Community Church.
Kathy is survived by her children, Nick (Alonna) Cazier, Brandon (Lakota) Cazier, and Michelle (Jed) Slama; her grandchildren, Royal (Matthew) Williams, Amanda (Trevor) Cardon, Chelsey, Emily, and Wesley Slama and five step grandchildren; her great-grandchildren, Beau and Colton Williams, and Krew Cardon, with two more great-grandchildren on the way and two step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Debi Benna, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Brent and Sandra Green; daughter, Angelia Lynn Cazier.
It has been 49 years since Kathy lost her first daughter, Angie. She did the best she could with her three remaining children. Now, it's Angie's turn to be with Mom. Thank you for waiting so patiently, dear sister.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, technicians, doctors, and staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center. A special thank you goes to Dr. Posada for his kindness, honesty, and support during this difficult time.
