Kathy Joe Bevans

Kathy Joe Bevans, 60, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on November 23, 2022 in her home. She was born in March of 1962 to Dixie and Kenneth Graham in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kathy met her husband and love of her life, Drake Bevans, in the 1970s and they married in 1992. 

Everyone who knew Kathy Joe could see how effervescent and loving she was. She spent her time fishing, often with her husband and sons, and loved walking to her favorite fishing spot mere blocks from her home to find peace. She enjoyed working with animals and took great joy in helping an animal in need and connecting with animals in nature. She loved all kinds of animals, from fuzzy to scaly, and securing the trust of a wild animal to eat out of her hand was always amazing to watch. She was a great cook and loved baking; she would share her pumpkin bread with all of her family, friends, and neighbors. 

She was preceded in her death by her parents and her son, Jared Bevans; as well as brothers, Richard and Tracy; and sister in law, Sharon. She is survived by her husband and her sons, Lucis McGuire and Dalton Bevans, and Lucis' wife Erin. She is also survived by her siblings including brother, Troy Graham; and sister, Collette Hatch, several grandchildren, and anyone reading this.
