Karla Dene Scott

KARLA SCOTT

April 10, 1936 – May 11, 2023

Karla Gustaveson Robison Scott, age 87, was born on April 10, 1936 in Preston, Idaho to Arthur and Elvira Gustaveson.  She passed away on May 11, 2023, in Bountiful, Utah. She was the fifth child of 11 in the family.  She moved with her family to North Salt Lake, and then to Fairview and Meadow, Utah. She attended schools in Fairview and Millard counties.

Karla grew up on family farms enjoying baby animals, lots of brothers and sisters, the great outdoors, and bringing in the cows--but she didn’t like butter. She only ate margarine.

She married Loyal H. Robison in 1952; they had three children. They were later divorced.

She married Thomas G. Scott on February 18, 1966.  He passed away on December 24, 1990.

Karla loved gardening, growing flowers, dancing, doing puzzles, road trips, and family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her son, Denny L Robison.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Craig) Terry; one son, Rick (Kelly) Robison; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. She is also survived by her siblings: Bill and Vicki Harper, Ted and Dianne North, Wayne and Charlene Gustaveson, and LuAnn and Michael Callahan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
