Karla Levingston Dolan

It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to our rock and light, our mom Karla Levingston Dolan, age 52, who passed away on December 14, 2021 with her family by her side.

Karla was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She is the loving and devoted mother of her three daughters, Bailey (Branden) Stain, Mandy (Patrick) Choffel, and Tawny Dolan and cherished granddaughter, Addison Zuech. Karla was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

She enjoyed everything that the outdoors had to offer. She loved spending days on the boat, fishing, hiking, shed hunting, gardening and taking the most beautiful pictures. She loved music, adventure and travel. She was hardworking, strong, determined and a fiercely independent woman.

She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Karla was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. Many were recipients of her selfless acts of generosity. Her life was a living example of “there is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.”

Karla is survived by the love of her life, Brent Allen. They shared the deepest love for one another that many only dream of. They were inseparable best friends sharing so many of the same interests. Thank you for loving our mother so much and showing us what respect and appreciation for each other looks like.

She will be sorely missed and survived by her sister, Kimberly (Steve) Lemmon; sister, Kathy Bender; daughter, Rebecca (Lance) Rosenkrance; son, Jared (Sunie) Allen; daughter, Rachel Allen; daughter, Ashley Allen; and many nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, many other family members and friends all of whom she loved and touched deeply.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Phillips and brother, Keith Levingston.

It would be wrong to say that Karla lost her battle to Leukemia because she never stopped fighting. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Our family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at LDS Hospital for their excellent care for our mom, especially Dr. Fabiana Ostronoff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GoldenWest Credit Union account set up in Bailey Stains name for a college fund for Karla’s granddaughter, Addison, the beneficiary of the account.

Per Karla’s request, there will not be any funeral services, while we grieve her loss we are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit.
