Karl Henrie Robinson

Karl Henrie Robinson, 60, of Layton, Utah, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after an eleven-month battle with brain cancer.

Born February 4, 1965, in Logan, Utah, Karl was the son of George and Geraldene Henrie Robinson. He spent his early years in Boise, Idaho, before moving to North Ogden, where he graduated from Weber High School in 1983. He later attended Weber State College and served an LDS mission in London, England.

Karl married Thressa Gillespie in 1987, and together they welcomed one son, Karl Jordan Robinson. In 2000, he married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Deborah Cude, with whom he shared twenty-five cherished years.

Karl worked at ES3 Engineering for twenty years. He was a member of Washington Heights Church, a devoted University of Utah sports fan who truly bled red, and an outdoor enthusiast who loved golfing, fishing, and cruising the Caribbean with family and friends.

Karl is survived by his wife, Debbie; his son Jordan (Ashley); his grandchildren Mason, Hailey and Michael; his brother Cecil (Melanie) Robinson; his sisters Robin (Scott) Anderson and Laura (Austin) Anderson; sisters-in-law Johanne (Grant) Holmes and Jill Cude Pehrson; brother-in-law John (Sandi) Cude; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, and his brother-in-law Brent Cude.

The family extends sincere thanks to the Craven family for their exceptional friendship and to the Huntsman Hospice nurses for their compassionate care.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North. Friends may visit with family Sunday, November 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, December 1, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Davis County Animal Shelter in Karl’s name.
