It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen B. Hadley, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who sadly left us on the morning of Friday, July 5, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born to Robert H. and Helen Russell Brandon, on August 20, 1947, in Reno, Nevada. She raised her family in Ogden, Utah.
Karen married Edward Hadley in November 1989.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her world. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and loved. She loved to decorate for the holidays and made every occasion special. She was a great cook and loved sharing her recipes with her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her children, Lori Barnes and Paul and Jackie Mobley; grandchildren, LaPreece Kirby, Saunjay and Shantay Hillmon, Chaniece Hillmon and Marcus Harris, Hailee and Dakota Kearney, Alexis Mobley and Courtney Nelson, Ashley Mobley and Jason Allen, Jordan and Devin Shupe, Paul M Mobley and Whitley Johnson; her 12 great grandchildren; brothers, James and Rose Breitweiser, Gary and Rita Breitweiser; and a host of other relatives and friends who will continue to celebrate her life and legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hadley; her first husband, Clarence Jay Mobley; parents, Robert and Helen Russell Brandon; her special sister, Ellen Wolfe; and other dear family members.
A special thank you to Diane Samuelson for the many years of friendship and care.
Our little ladybug is finally flying free.
