Kaden Michael Shafer age 27 returned to his heavenly father peacefully January 22, 2022 surrounded by his family. Kaden was born December 23, 1994 alongside his twin sister in Ogden, Utah to his momma Tonya Fuhriman.
Kaden had a great love for basketball, skateboarding, drawing, and the Denver Broncos from a young age. Family was a big part of his life. He was very close and protective of his two sisters and his only brother. You could always find Kaden chasing around his little cousins, niece, and nephew. He also had a smile that would light up a room. Kaden had an infectious personality that attracted so many people and was a friend to all. He always looked for the positive in everyone. Kaden attended Roy High School and went on to work for his grandfather at Excel Excavating as an equipment operator, where he also loved to weld in his spare time.
Kaden is survived by his momma Tonya Fuhriman, Step-dad; Dan Fuhriman, sister; Kenzie Nielson (Matt Nielson), twin sister Karlie Shafer, brother; Karson Shafer, Step-siblings; Daniel, Jorden, Korben, Brynlee, Chaseten Fuhriman, Niece; Ava Shafer, nephew, Krue Nielson, grandparents; Pam & Verlan Robinson, great-grandma; Patricia Waite, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends and family whose lives Kaden has touched are invited to the funeral services which will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maplewood Ward, 2228 S. 1660 W. Syracuse. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 S. 2000 W. and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
