Justo Germán Cornejo Pacheco

Germán Cornejo Pacheco, retornó pacíficamente a la presencia de nuestro Padre Celestial en su hogar en el Lago Salado, Utah, Estados Unidos, el dia 21 de Noviembre del 2023, acompañado de su familia y amigos. Germán nació, el 28 de Mayo, en el valle de Victor Arequipa Perú, siendo sus padres, Raul Cornejo Murillo y Amanda Pacheco Tapia, el cual fue el mayor de nueve hermanos.

Germán, conoció el amor de su vida Gladis Maria Laura Blancos en Bellapampa Socabaya Arequipa, Perú. Contraendo matrimonio el 18 de Junio de 1976 y sellandose por tiempo y eternidades en el Templo de Lima Perú, de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias, el 13 de Febrero del 2002. Siendo el gozo de su vida sus hijos Karina Maria y John Alberto.

Germán, trabajó la mayoria de su vida como asistente de gerente en “Confecciones Buque” y creció hincha del futbol Club “Juvenil Bellapampa” Socabaya, el cual amó y lo vio crecer. Sin embargo, Germán teniendo una mayor simpatía y amor al equipo professional de primera división futbol Peruano, “Club FBC Melgar”. Germán, creció de buenos padres y el siempre trabajó arduamente para proveer para su familia y sus seres queridos. Germán siempre se sintió orgulloso de sus hijos lo cual les enseñó como ser un buen Padre y un buen esposo con su testimonio y fe en el Señor Jesucristo.

El dedico su vida, testimonio y ejemplo a sus hijos, Karina (Dennis) Garcia y John (Kathy) Cornejo a sus nietos, Matthew Garcia, Cindel Garcia, Ryan Cornejo, Bella Cornejo, y Mekelle Cornejo, y a sus siete hermanos (Eddy, Percy, Yilmer, Derly, Tito, Miguel y Ana). Germán retornó a la presencia de nuestro Padre Celestial precedido de su mamá, su papá, su hermano (Jorge Edmundo), sus suegros (Felix y Mercedes), y sus cuñados (Adolfo y Jhonny) y demas familiares.

El servició funeral será realizado el diá Sábado 2 de Diciembre del 2023 a las 11:00 am, en la capilla del Barrio El Camino, 3150 Whitehall Dr, West Valley City. Ese mismo día antes del servicio funeral en la capilla, estan invitados a verlo por ultima vez de 9:30-10:30am. Amigos y familiares pueden asistir a la vigilia el Viernes 1 de Diciembre de 6-8 p.m. en la funeraria Lindquist Mortuary 1867 N Fairfield, Layton. La Familia Cornejo esta agradecída por su participación y companía, Gracias.

German Cornejo returned peacefully to our Heavenly Father, surrounded by his family on November 21, 2023. German was born on May 28^th in Vitor, Arequipa, Peru to Raul Cornejo Murillo and Eulalia Pacheco Tapia. He was the oldest of 9 siblings.

German met the love of his life, Gladis Laura and they were married on June 18, 1976. Later they were sealed in the Lima Peru Temple on February 13, 2002 for all eternity. The greatest joy in his life came from having his 2 children, Karina Maria and John Alberto.

German was the assistant to the general manager for the company, Confecciones Buque. He was an avid fan of the soccer team, Juvenil Bellapampa from his hometown in Socabaya, Peru. However, his true allegiance was to the Peruvian Pro Soccer Team, Club FBC Melgar. German worked hard to always provide for his family and those he loved. He was always proud of his children and showed everyday his testimony in Jesus Christ.

German is survived by his children Karina (Dennis) Garcia and John (Kathy) Cornejo, his grandchildren, Matthew Garcia, Cindel Garcia, Ryan Cornejo, Bella Cornejo, and Mekelle Cornejo, his siblings, Eddy, Percy, Yilmer, Derly, Tito, Miguel, and Ana. He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Felix and Mercedes, and his brothers-in-law Aldolfo and Jhonny.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 at the El Camino LDS Ward, 3150 Whitehall Dr, West Valley. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before the funeral at the church.
