June D. Schmidt

June 13, 1933 ~ May 26, 2016

June D. Schmidt, 82, passed away on May 26, 2016.  She was born on June 13, 1933 to Parley Leland and Elna Lissie Gilbert Allred in Ogden, Utah.  She grew up and attended Ogden City Schools.  June lived her entire life in Ogden, Utah.

June was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having had many callings.  She was married and sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple to Jack Schmidt. She was also an active member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers “DUP”.

She loved to spend time with her family.  She also enjoyed many hobbies and loved her dogs.

June is survived by her sons, Max D. III (Debbie) Cutlip, Flagstaff, AZ and Brian R. (Cindy) Cutlip, Ogden; daughter, Mechille K. (Ron) Ford, Ogden; 17 grandchildren. and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, her first husband, Max D. Cutlip, Sr.; and her eternal husband Jack Schmidt; as well as four children and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
